Bringing the future of compliance to Akuapem: Kijanify visits Asili Farms

We were thrilled to welcome the Kijanify team to the mountains of Akuapem for a firsthand look at how their pioneering software is helping us shape a more sustainable coffee future.

Led by Sundi Innovations—Kijanify’s local representative—and joined by Kijanify’s founder, Sohee Eom, the visit marked a milestone in our digital journey toward compliance with the European Union Deforestation Regulations (EUDR). Kijanify’s software empowers smallholder farmers to preemptively meet compliance requirements and monitor their carbon footprints, opening new doors for global trade.

Our farmers were eager to demonstrate their practices as surveyors mapped several coordinates on each farm and gathered field-level data. The highlight? The tool’s offline capability—allowing data collection even in remote areas without internet access. Once uploaded, the data generated real-time maps identifying proximity to deforested zones, giving our team new clarity on how to manage risks proactively.

The pilot programme was provided to Asili on a promotional basis, giving us early access to a solution that promises to revolutionise smallholder traceability and sustainability.

This collaboration marks another step forward in our mission to make Ghana’s coffee sector globally competitive, transparent, and resilient. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey with Kijanify.
