Training sessions underway for our farmers

At Asili Coffee, we believe that empowering our farmers with knowledge and skills is key to driving sustainable growth in the coffee sector. Recently, we successfully conducted a comprehensive training session for our farmers, delivered in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Ghana Cocoa Board Seed Production Division. This initiative is part of our ongoing capacity-building efforts within the Agroforestry Incubator.

The training session focused on essential topics, including sustainable farming practices, pest management, and best practices for coffee cultivation. By equipping our farmers with practical skills and insights, we aim to enhance their productivity and improve the quality of coffee produced in the Akuapem region.

Participants engaged in hands-on learning experiences, where they not only gained theoretical knowledge but also had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss challenges they face in their farming activities. The collaboration with ITC and the Ghana Cocoa Board ensures that our training is aligned with national standards and best practices in the agricultural sector.

As we continue to implement these training sessions, our goal is to build a strong community of knowledgeable farmers who are committed to sustainable coffee production. This investment in human capital is crucial for the long-term success of the Agroforestry Incubator and the broader coffee industry in Ghana.
