Asili Coffee Purveyors Ltd has entered into a groundbreaking agreement with the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCBOD) to enhance domestic coffee consumption. This strategic partnership is part of the broader Coffee Consumption Initiative, aimed at fostering a coffee culture in Ghana and stimulating local economic growth.
The initiative is generously funded by the Inter-African Coffee Organization, which has provided a grant of US$25,000. This funding will be pivotal in establishing model coffee shops across the country, supporting local farmers, and attracting youthful interest in Ghanaian coffee. The International Coffee Organization’s decision to release these funds underscores the global recognition of the potential in boosting coffee consumption in Ghana.
Among numerous applicants, Asili Coffee Purveyors Ltd stood out with its innovative approach to making coffee accessible to the masses. Our proposal was uniquely aligned with the initiative’s goals, emphasising accessibility and widespread engagement. This match was crucial in securing the grant and moving forward with our plans.
