Asili is proud to announce the successful launch of its contract farming program in partnership with German development agency GIZ. This innovative program is designed to provide small-scale coffee farmers in the Akuapem region with the resources, training, and support they need to produce high-quality coffee in a sustainable and profitable way.
The program has received an overwhelmingly positive response, with up to 120 farmers participating in the initiative. The farmers are provided with agro inputs, technical expertise, and market access, allowing them to focus on what they do best – growing coffee.
In addition to this, Asili is also working with the Akuapem Coffee Growers Association and Ghana Cocoa Board to offer training and support to help the farmers improve their farming practices and increase yields, reduce waste, and improve the overall quality of their products.
We are committed to creating a brighter future for coffee farmers, and this program is just the beginning. The company plans to continue working closely with farmers and development agencies to find innovative ways to support small-scale farmers and promote sustainable coffee production.
